Denied Party Screening (DPS)



Purpose

  • Certain entities are restricted or denied by the United States and other governments from involvement in
    transactions involving NGCs products or technology.

  • The EEMS Denied Party Screening tool searches for matches to an entity on relevant government lists,
    which are updated daily.

Actions

Screen An Entity

  • Screen an Entity/Party from scratch by clicking the button below
+ Screen an Entity

Process Steps:


a. Originator determines if DPS is required

b. Originator clicks the Screen an Entity button (placed in the Actions box above), then screens the relevant entities in the EEMS DPS tool

c. If screening matches are encountered, use EEMS to email the potential matches to your sector Export Management
organization for review (the email button is on the screening results page and looks like an envelope)

       i.If no screening matches are encountered no action is required. If desired, you can print the results page for your records

d. Export Management will review the potential matches

e. An Override or Denial of the screening matches will be sent to you by email
