Compliance Requests (License Application Requests)

Purpose

  • Compliance Requests are used by export management to solicit information from the program, contract, or other organization in order to create a license application.

  • Consult your export management organization to determine if Compliance Requests are used in your business unit.

  • If you require your export management organization to apply for an export license on your behalf, fill out and submit a Compliance Request.

Actions

Create or Copy an existing Compliance Request

  • Create a new Compliance Request from scratch by clicking the button below

  • Copy an existing Compliance License. Input the Request Email, hit Submit, and choose "Copy" from the table.

Check Status of a Compliance Request

To check the status of a specific request, input the request ID

To check all request under your user name, input your email address

Check Status of a License Application

If you need to check the status of a License Application,
enter the Tranasction ID and click on the 'Submit' button.

To check the status of a specific request, input the Transaction ID

Modify a Pending License Application

You can view or modify the details of a pending License Application anytime by entering your request ID and request email

If a reviewer returns your request, look over the reason for the return and modify the License Application appropriately in order to ensure proper approval.

Create Import Request From

  • Create a new Import Request from scratch by clicking the button below

Process Steps:


  1. Create a Compliance Request when a license is required for your organizations activity by clicking the Create a Compliance Request button(placed in the Actions box above).

  2. Submit the Compliance Request and supporting information to export management

  3. An email will be sent to you when the Compliance Request is sufficient to complete a license application

    1. If the Compliance Request is not sufficiently detailed for approval, an email will be sent with a reason for return

    2. You will need to modify your Compliance Request and resubmit the request for approval

  4. Your sector export management office will contact you when the license is submitted and approved by the US Government
